My old home town. Next time your there, try the restaurant called Bomb Bomb in South Philly. Amazing food and was bombed twice by the Italian mob in the 50s and 80s. Also, the oldest bakery in America is Termini Bros in South Philly. Gotta get the cannolis!

I hate riding West in the evening, looking into the Sunset. I always plan my rides to avoid that.

The best travels are the ones you travel on a sheit bike and persevere while meeting people to help you out. It forces you to get around locally at the most unexpected places with unexpected people. You do this on a newer well prepped bagger, yeah, comfy, reliable, powerful, fast, whatever, it’s not a car drive, but almost as far from the above. Still wonderful, but so totally galactically different. Ride a Indian PowerPlus across states, alone, not with 10 experts on a cannonball. Travel on it. Or whatever from 1915.

Used to ride this and hwy 2 (Cascade Loop) at least twice a year when I was stationed at NAS Whidbey several years ago. Always a great ride.

Years ago my two brothers and I went to Philly. Had a blast and of course tons of history. We had philly cheesesteaks at either Pat's or Gino's. It was good. But we were still hungry. We walked not even half a block and there was this food cart vendor selling philly cheese steaks. The food cart vender was better than the one we had earlier. Glad to know that the Washington statue/memorial is still there and not taken down by the libs.

Maybe the Gov of Ca should go there and relearn what the charter of the USA is. Instead of constantly braking the law and trampling rights of citizens. I just came back from Athens Greece, where the building you saw came from Ancient Greek 😊and Roman designs.

Becky Goebel is a badass woman! She builds choppers and rides old school motorcycles that most younger people don't ride. Everyone wants to ride the newer Harleys. I am older, and I was raised to work on your own motorcycle. Not many ladies wrench anymore.

Two Lane Blacktop 1971 James Taylor, the Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson, Warren Oates, and Laurie Bird. In the 80s and 90s I lived in Maryville, TN rode a Harley Super Glide. Would ride to and from Murphy, NC at least once a month through Deals Gap. Back then there was very little traffic, now it is loaded with morons, making it super dangerous.

The sad part is there are people and politicians who are trying to wipe out how we became a country. Love your videos. Keep them coming

Lived in the Philly/NJ area all my life (56 years) and most locals will tell you the best steaks are not Pats and not Genos. They are for tourists. There are many other locations that are far better. Check out some of the ratings by local news organizations, and they will tell you the better places. Even most of the places in the suburbs are better. And cheese whiz is not cheese, much better with provolone or white American cheese.

I’m so bummed you guys were literally 5 minutes from my house I recognize the Mexican restaurant! I hope you guys enjoyed your east coast trip!!

Love these videos closer to home. I grew up in Boston but live in Jersey now. Philadelphia has tons more to see next time you're back. I'm surprised Gaylin didn't take the viewers to the U.S. Mint. Funny to see you got scolded at Geno's for going to wrong window. Most places in Philly do that. Even at 3am with only one person working they insist on ordering steaks at one window and sides/drinks at next and paying at another, even when it's the same darn person. 😆 Pats is the better of those 2, but I prefer Jim's on South Street. Too bad you guys didn't ride up to the Delaware River to Washington's Crossing....unless that's coming in another video. Hope to see you guys (and the ladies) back east soon. I would've been stoked to run into you at 30th as I run trains through there for Amtrak. 😆

So those boots r made for walkin r they also not slick or slippery for riding when you put ur feet down? I have a few pairs of Tecovas boots that I like for just kicking around but find them on the slippery side when on the bike and put my feet down…what are you wearing and do they work well when on the bike?
